The special art program "Proud to be Vietnamese" is one of the key national activities, included in the overall project of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The program was chaired by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi People's Committee and a number of units.
The program has truly become a great festival of the river, connecting millions of hearts of Vietnamese people at home and abroad.

emotional journey
With a duration of 90 minutes, the program was elaborately staged, divided into 3 chapters: "Source - Calling the name of Vietnam", "A Vietnam - A million hearts" and "Proud to be Vietnamese".
The stage is uniquely designed, inspired by the Lang Lieu legend, combined with the image of a round sky - a square earth, along with a top-notch sound, lighting and visual system, bringing an eye-catching and sublime "artistic feast".
Chapter 1 called "Source - Calling the name of Vietnam" has brought the audience back to history, recreating the journey of building a country and defending the glorious country of the nation. From the legendary Lac Long Quan and Au Co, the Hung King era, through a thousand years of heroic uprisings in the North, to the feudal dynasties of independence and self-reliance.

In particular, the program vividly depicts the period of French occupation and the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam, culminating in the moment Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square on September 2, 1945.
This historic moment was emotionally recreated through the performance of the song "Tien Quan Ca" by singer Tung Duong and the large-scale ensembles, resounding majestically in the response of 30,000 audiences, creating a symbol of the spirit of national solidarity.

Chapter 2 - "A Vietnam - A million hearts" is a colorful symphony of the beauty of the country and the Vietnamese people across the country. From the majestic Northwest mountains and forests through "Love Song of the Northwest", to the resilient Central region with "Mo Da Nang", or the fertile land of the South through "Song of the Southern Land".
The message about a Vietnam, although different in voice, costumes, and customs, always in the same beat, a call "Fatherland" has been deeply conveyed through each melody. Songs such as "Noi dau trong hoa" and "Khat vong" performed by Hoa Minzy have touched millions of hearts, reminding them of the sacrifices of generations of ancestors to get peace and independence today.
Chapter 3 - "Proud to be Vietnamese" is a proud affirmation of today's generation, demonstrating an intelligent, brave, creative and ready-to- integrate Vietnam. Songs such as "Hello Vietnam", "Duong den don don gian" performed by the bands Buc Tuong, Anh Tu, Lam Bao Ngoc... have fueled the passion and aspiration of the youth.

The bridge connects millions of Vietnamese hearts
The program ended meaningfully with the song "Noi tay lon" in the brilliant high-altitude fireworks display. All artists sang with tens of thousands of audiences, spreading the message of solidarity, joining hands to build a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
"Proud to be Vietnamese" has contributed to honoring history, arousing gratitude and strongly spreading the message of solidarity, strengthening the belief, national pride and aspiration to contribute and build the country in all classes of people, especially the younger generation.
The program has truly become a bridge connecting millions of Vietnamese hearts, arousing patriotism, pride and solidarity in each child of Vietnam. This will be a deep mark in the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, affirming the position and aspiration of the Vietnamese people in the new era.
