The national job exchange is expected to open in September 2025. This is an effort to directly realize Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, in which the construction of a national job connection platform is a content to concretize this policy in the labor sector.
In addition, Resolution 71/NQ-CP also requires the implementation of digital transformation tasks, including the construction of national platforms to serve governance, data and public services, creating a legal basis and direction to build a national job market.
Many experts say that the current labor market still lacks connection between localities and national connectivity. New job exchanges only operate on a small scale, locally, and have not yet formed a national connectivity network... The limitations make it difficult to rotate labor between regions, causing waste of resources in the context of difficulty in recruiting workers in places that need human resources and difficulty in finding jobs in places where workers have to find jobs.
"The national job fair coming into operation is expected to help connect labor supply and demand in a practical, regular, continuous, multi-layered manner, from high-end to simple labor segments; multi-field, multi-location", said Mr. Le Quang Trung - former Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Employment.
The national job exchange ensures the transparency of the labor market when information is made public, limiting fraud. On the system, each enterprise is granted an identification code, fully responsible for the content posted. Workers also have their information verified via the VNeID application, and have the right to search and interview directly on the platform.
Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Employment Service Center said that the national job exchange helps unify labor market information; support both workers and businesses in connecting labor supply and demand. In particular, for unemployed workers, if there is a national job exchange, they can soon return to the labor market.
Mr. Ha Anh Tuan - CEO of Vinalink Company also has high expectations for the national job exchange and noted that some jobs can apply AI, but it is necessary to pay attention to upgrading IT hardware first.
In particular, there should be a forecast analysis table on the labor market, occupations, and data for workers so that workers can look up to choose industries and jobs.
"For example, what skills are needed in the marketing industry to achieve the salary level... We have to provide data to replace private companies. detecting labor supply and demand helps both sides to work hard with an automatic connection system. AI can understand the "taste" of both businesses and workers to suggest good, correct, and suitable documents," Mr. Tuan emphasized.
