In 2025, the eye screening program jointly implemented by the City Labor Federation and Hanoi - Hai Phong Eye Hospital reached tens of thousands of workers in the East of the city. According to the cooperation agreement, Hanoi - Hai Phong Eye Hospital donated 350,000 basic eye examination packages, worth VND300,000/package to the city's union members. In the coming time, the program will continue to be expanded, targeting more than 250,000 union members in the West Hai Phong area, ensuring that all workers and laborers in the city have the opportunity to access quality eye examination services.

We are looking forward to this activity to know about health status, vision as well as advice on how to take care of healthy eyes.
From the effectiveness of this program, recently, the City Labor Federation continued to coordinate with Hanoi Eye Hospital - Hai Phong to implement a free cataract surgery program for 500 union members and their relatives. Mr. Nguyen Van Phiet - Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation - emphasized that eyes are a valuable asset of each person. Faced with increasingly high work pressure and a special working environment, many union members and employees face eye disease risks but have not had the conditions to be examined and treated promptly. In particular, for cases of cataracts - a leading cause of vision loss and blindness - the cost of surgery is often a significant financial burden for many workers' families. Understanding those concerns, the City Labor Federation has implemented a free glass surgery program for union members.
From the beginning of 2025 to now, the City Labor Federation has organized many programs to promote health care for union members and workers; coordinated with Green International Hospital to organize 27 free health examination and consultation programs for nearly 5,000 union members and workers. Building 100 physical training points for union members
Along with free medical examination and treatment programs, the City Labor Federation has implemented a series of physical training models. It is necessary to mention the investment in installing 100 union physical training points from residential playgrounds to workers' dormitories, attracting thousands of workers to use every day.
The movement "Fizness in the middle of the hour - healthy to contribute", "7 minutes of performance - brilliant throughout the day" has been actively responded to by more than 300,000 union members. Short but effective exercises help workers reduce occupational diseases, increase productivity, and improve working spirit.
Currently, the city has built and maintained 24 Clusters of Labor Union Culture and Sports, and organized annual workers' sports festivals with diverse sports: Football, volleyball, running, badminton, swimming, etc.
The city's trade unions at all levels also coordinated with grassroots trade unions and enterprises to effectively organize the "Union Meal" program with quality meals for employees, making Hai Phong the leading locality in the urban sector in terms of scale and effectiveness in spreading the program. From the models organized by the Federation of Labor, the Trade Unions also proposed that businesses pay attention to and implement solutions to improve the health of union members and employees. Working conditions in many enterprises have improved, the safe and hygienic working environment has received more attention. Many units have invested in innovating equipment and technology to minimize the risk of occupational accidents and diseases. Some boarding house owners have proactively installed exercise machines and playgrounds for workers - demonstrating their support with the Trade Union organization in improving the lives of workers.
According to the representative of the Trade Union Working Committee, in the 2025-2030 term, the City Trade Union aims to build a system of Trade Union physical training points in 100% of industrial parks and clusters.
