Ensure salary and bonus for employees
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Vice President of Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation, the unit is currently implementing a program to care for Tet Sum Vay for workers in the area. Every year, union officials travel long distances, to the border areas, to villages in the mountains and forests to hand out meaningful gifts, encouraging workers to overcome difficulties.
Trade unions at all levels cannot forget the poor, those who have had accidents, have serious illnesses, or are in difficult circumstances. Words of encouragement, visits, and small annual gifts will give them the spiritual strength to overcome adversity, continue to create wealth for society, and contribute to businesses.
“At the end of the year, issues such as unpaid wages and bonuses often arise, and a few businesses face difficulties in business and finance. Trade unions at all levels have experience in this matter. At the grassroots level, they proactively grasp the situation, organize dialogues, conciliation, and negotiations between workers and businesses. The goal is to harmonize interests, ensure long-term rights for workers, and let workers have a full and happy Tet holiday with their families at the end of the year,” Ms. Thuy shared.
Mr. Tran Manh Hung - Deputy Head of Dak Nong Industrial Parks Management Board - said: "Since the end of November 2024, we have requested businesses in the area to fully inform employees about their salary and bonus payment plans for the 2025 New Year and 2025 Lunar New Year.
Units must ensure full and timely payment according to the salary and bonus payment plan during the upcoming Tet holidays for employees. From there, avoid the situation of unpaid salaries and bonuses of employees, leading to the risk of disputes and instability in labor relations at the enterprise.
