On September 17, the Hue City Labor Federation (LDLD) said that in August, trade unions at all levels in the area have implemented many practical activities to care for the lives of union members and workers.
Many welfare programs have been implemented simultaneously, notably the "Union Meal" for more than 2,600 people, increasing the value of each meal from 18,000 to 60,000 VND, with contributions from businesses, creating a positive effect in the working community.
Meals are not only nutritious but also rich in dishes, ensuring hygiene and food safety. This is a program that has received positive responses, contributing to improving working conditions at the grassroots level.
Throughout the month, care work was promoted, with a total of more than 3,500 union members and employees supported, with a total cost of over 1.65 billion VND.
