The Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade has just issued a plan to organize trade union congresses at all levels towards the 5th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, term 2025 - 2030 and the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026 - 2031 (planned).
According to the Vietnam Trade Union, trade union congresses at all levels are a political activity, with the motto "unity - democracy - discipline - innovation - development"; marking a fundamental change in the organizational model in the new era; promptly concretizing the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws into the resolutions of the trade union congress; the task of summarizing and evaluating the implementation of the resolutions of the trade union congress in the past term, proposing the direction of operation for the new term; amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; electing the new term union executive committee...
The Congress of grassroots trade unions, member grassroots trade unions, and departmental trade unions for the 2025-2030 term shall be completed before November 30, 2025. The official congress time is no more than 1 session, encouraged to be associated with the summary of trade union work in 2025 of the unit and enterprise.
