The will of male workers
Mr. Vo Trung Tinh (38 years old, working at Vietnam Onamba Co., Ltd.) is also one of the workers who suffered severe labor accidents and has the will to rise up in life thanks to the support of the Trade Union. Mr. Vo Trung Tinh shared that during his work, unfortunately he suffered a labor accident causing 72% health damage.
“I was working when I was unfortunately hit by a colleague's lift truck. The accident caused me to have a severed upper 1/3 of my right femur, deformed right pelvis, and hip osteoarthritis. For a year after the accident, I was just lying in one place. Moving was difficult, and life had to depend on relatives. My family lost their main source of income, so it was also difficult. But I think, we cannot just give in to fate.
Thanks to the encouragement of colleagues and the support of the Trade Union, I gradually regained my faith in life. After that, I entered the recovery treatment process, practicing walking again. At the same time, I practiced computer access, informatics and office work to gradually change my job and adapt to the new situation" - Mr. Tinh shared.
Representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that seeing Mr. Tinh's efforts, trade union levels also regularly support and encourage him. At the factory, the company has arranged office work to suit Mr. Tinh's health.
With this amount of money, I can take care of myself, take care of my children's education and help my father in the countryside" - Mr. Tinh expressed.
