Products exported to more than 45 countries
In 2025, the company consumed 9,126 tons domestically, exported 4,886 tons, achieved revenue of nearly 750 billion VND and paid taxes of more than 30 billion VND. This result has the important contribution of Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hong - General Director of SAFOCO, who steadfastly overcame many difficulties and challenges with the business.
Ms. Hong recalled that from a food store in District 10 after the liberation of the South, the unit gradually developed into SAFOCO Food Enterprise. In 2005, the enterprise was equitized with a capital of 22 billion VND, in conditions where equipment was still outdated and many manual production stages.
Ms. Hong then directed the registration of trademark protection in Vietnam and many international markets, expanding distribution, modernizing the production line, standardizing management and improving products to suit domestic and export needs.
SAFOCO currently has 8,500 points of sale nationwide, products are present in supermarkets, convenience stores and more than 45 countries. Fresh vermicelli, rice paper, noodles are key export items in the US, UK, Korea and Japan.
One of the factors that makes SAFOCO successful is a methodical investment strategy in machinery, factories and management technology. The company has established and maintained a quality management system according to international standards.
Company three times awarded the title of Typical Enterprise for Employees
Ms. Hong recounted that in 1975, when the South was completely liberated, she was a worker at the Hai Hung Fiber Processing Factory (now belonging to Hai Phong City) and followed her family to Saigon, was assigned to work at the District 10 Food Department and has been continuously attached to the Southern food industry since then.
Growing up from a worker, Ms. Hong is very understanding of the jobs, lives as well as the wishes of workers (NLĐ).
Perhaps because of this, the company's policies are always practical and close to the actual needs of employees. At SAFOCO, more than 600 employees have an average income of 21.75 million VND/person/month; every year the company is paid salary increases periodically; the average social insurance contribution salary reaches 8.08 million VND/person/month, contributing to ensuring long-term benefits for employees when retiring.
According to the company's collective labor agreement, every year, in addition to salary, the enterprise also pays holiday and Tet bonuses of an average of 4 million VND/person; the 13th month salary is from 2 to 5 months' salary/person depending on seniority and performance results; employees who get married are given a wedding gift of 2 million VND by the company, if both husband and wife work for the company, they are given a wedding gift of 5 million VND; female employees on maternity leave according to regulations are supported by the company with 3 million VND/person...

With the achievements achieved, SAFOCO has been honored to receive many titles such as: Labor Orders, ranks I, II, III; Independence Orders, ranks II, III; Vietnam National Brand (2022, 2024); Top 10 leading brands in Vietnam, Top 10 ASEAN brands... Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hong herself was also honored to receive many Labor Orders, ranks I, II, III. In particular, on June 3, General Secretary and President To Lam signed a decision to confer the title of Hero of Labor on Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hong. And soon, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hong will be nominated for honor in the 2026 Vietnam Glory Program.
