On November 4, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance in collaboration with Vietnam Post Corporation organized a launching ceremony for the program "60 days of acceleration - Complete the development target for social insurance and health insurance participants in 2025".
According to Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance, on the first day of the campaign, the two units will strive to develop about 3,000 new participants in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance. In the 60 days of acceleration, the goal of Ho Chi Minh City is to have 16,000 more people participating in voluntary social insurance and 350,000 people participating in household health insurance.
Mr. Tran Dung Ha - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance - said that expanding the number of voluntary social insurance and household health insurance participants for social security is of great significance and is profoundly humane because it ensures comprehensive health care benefits, increasingly more people are protected from risks of income, disease, accidents, and diseases.
At the same time, it contributes to strengthening a sustainable social security system, reducing the burden of the state budget and demonstrating the spirit of "each participant - the whole community is protected".

The program "60 days of acceleration - Complete the development targets of social insurance and health insurance participants in 2025" is a peak period of action, aiming to complete the targets of developing social insurance and health insurance participants.
In particular, special attention is paid to informal groups, individual business households, small traders and households without health insurance cards. The ultimate goal is for all people to access, understand and proactively participate in the social security policies of the Party and the State.
