On April 21, the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor (TPL) held a launching ceremony for Workers' Month - Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) and honored outstanding workers and laborers in 2025.
Attending the launching ceremony were comrades: Phan Van Anh, Vice Chairman of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee and members of the Standing Committee of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province; Leaders of the Labor Confederation of Thai Binh and Hung Yen provinces and numerous officials, union members, workers and employees in the province.
At the launching ceremony, a representative of the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that in recent years, the activities of Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health launched and organized by the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor have created a widespread spread, marking a strong mark in caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
Workers' Month is a peak month for trade unions at all levels in the province to promote propaganda work, raise awareness of all levels, sectors, employers, and employees to be aware of complying with the law on occupational safety and health.
Towards Workers' Month 2025, the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor has issued a plan, proposing 7 groups of activities for trade unions at all levels to choose to implement.
In particular, focusing on the program "Creative workers, firmly believing in the new era"; The program "Dialogue in May" and the forum "Party with workers - workers with the Party"; The program "Thank you for employees"; Organize the peak month to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions, introduce the development of worker members; promote emulation movements and improve the effectiveness of mass movement to do occupational safety and health (OSH); organize supervision, coordination of inspection and inspection of OSH and organize activities and thematic events on OSH ...
Organize visits, encourage and give gifts to victims and their families of victims of work-related accidents, occupational diseases, workers in especially difficult circumstances, organize activities towards union members and workers...
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Comrade Phan Van Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, requested that Thai Binh provincial trade unions at all levels continue to take advantage of the direction of Party committees at all levels, the coordination and support of the government and employers to organize practical activities during the Workers' Month - Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025.
In particular, continuing to organize propaganda, disseminate the study and implementation of resolutions of Trade Union Congresses at all levels and resolutions of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, in conjunction with disseminating legal policies related to the rights of union members and workers; at the same time, organizing and implementing extensive political activities in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on workers and trade unions...
At the launching ceremony, the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor commended 95 outstanding workers and laborers in workers' and trade union work.
In which, 25 outstanding workers are honored; 20 outstanding workers in "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style"; 50 outstanding workers in emulation movements.
In addition, on this occasion, the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor also presented a symbol of 2 billion 350 million VND in funding to support the construction of "Union Shelter" houses to 47 union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances under the Thai Binh Provincial Government Trade Union, the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Parks Trade Union and district and city labor federations.
