Following the Trade Union Tet seasons, in the plan to take care of union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Phu Yen Provincial Labor Federation sets out the motto "All union members and workers have a happy, meaningful, warm and united Tet".
The goal set by Phu Yen Trade Union is to have more than 4,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances truly cared for so that they can work together to celebrate Tet.
Mr. Dang Ngoc Anh - Chairman of Phu Yen Labor Federation, said - the key task of taking care of Tet this year is to focus on activities that bring specific benefits, closely to each union member, according to the specific plan set out.
For the provincial Labor Federation, there are 3 main activities: the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang"; the program "Tet Union Market 2025" online to support 2,000 union members and workers at unions with many workers; disburse funds and mobilize resources to support Tet gifts from 500,000 VND to 1 million VND/union member in difficult circumstances, coordinate with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to organize visits to give gifts, encourage and wish Tet to union members and workers with the participation of leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor...
For Trade Unions at all levels, timely, continuous and widespread communication about the Trade Union's Tet care activities to union members, units and local businesses. From there, create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, widely spreading the Trade Union's care policies in the social community.
In particular, organize visits, give gifts, and celebrate Tet to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, those who have had work-related accidents or occupational diseases, businesses that are experiencing a reduction in orders, labor contracts, working hours, or income, workers with serious illnesses, urban environmental workers, medical staff working on New Year's Eve, children of union members with serious illnesses, etc. The general support level is at least 500,000 VND/case, and socialized sources may be higher.
Trade unions at all levels seek support from Party committees, authorities, employers, and philanthropists to join hands to care for and give gifts to all union members and workers to celebrate Tet happily, building harmonious and stable labor relations.
In 2024, the Phu Yen Provincial Federation of Labor visited and presented gifts to nearly 1,000 union members, workers, and fishermen in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses, with a total amount of nearly 750 million VND. Of which, the Tet Sum Vay program was organized, presenting 671 gifts, worth 548 million VND; visiting 62 policy families and families in difficult circumstances in Ca Lui commune, Son Hoa district and Hoa An commune, Phu Hoa district; visiting 25 units and enterprises on duty during Tet... Trade unions at all levels in the province have taken care of union members and workers with a total amount of nearly 12 billion VND. Up to now, the Tet Sum Vay seasons of the Union have left a special mark in the hearts of union members every Tet holiday.
