In the first quarter of 2026, Quang Ninh has 16 newly established grassroots trade unions, admitting 1,867 union members; introducing 225 outstanding union members for the Party to consider admitting.
This result continues to affirm the role of trade union organizations in developing union members, building organizations and participating in Party building.
Closely following the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Labor Federation has proactively implemented many solutions, basically completing the set tasks.
The role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers continues to be promoted.
The work of caring for the lives of workers is carried out practically, especially during the Lunar New Year with the programs "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", "Trade Union Year-end Meal", "Online Trade Union Tet Market". Thereby contributing to stabilizing life and strengthening the bond between workers and trade union organizations and businesses.
The labor relations situation in the province is basically stable, no complicated disputes arise, and no "hot spots". Trade union activities contribute to the implementation of political tasks, contribute to socio-economic development and maintain security and order.
Concluding the working session, Mr. Vu Quyet Tien acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation and trade union levels in the province in the past time, making practical contributions to taking care of workers' lives and implementing the province's socio-economic development tasks.
In the coming time, trade union levels need to continue to perform well the function of representing and protecting the rights of workers; proactively grasp the situation of labor relations, strengthen dialogue and collective bargaining.
The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions, especially in non-state-owned enterprises, needs to be identified as a key and key task.
Continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical direction, towards grassroots levels; promote digital transformation; improve the effectiveness of propaganda, build political bravery, labor discipline and culture of miners in the Mining region.
