Talking to reporters, a young man from Ha Tinh (the victim in the incident) said that at nearly 7 pm, he was driving a Mazda car (with 2 people in the car at this time) traveling in the direction of Hoang Minh Giam - Nguyen Chanh.
While traveling on Nguyen Chanh street, the section passing through B10A Nam Trung Yen apartment building, a white Toyota car traveling in the direction of Nguyen Chanh - Hoang Minh Giam suddenly crashed into a car traveling in the same direction, then rushed into the opposite lane, hitting the rear of his car and then continuing to crash into many other vehicles.
The situation happened too quickly, I didn't have time to handle it" - he said.
After the accident occurred, the victim got out of the car to grasp the situation.
When the traffic police force arrived at the scene, he also requested an alcohol concentration test for the man who caused the accident.
According to records, after causing the accident, the man holed up in the car, not getting out of the car.
At about 8:15 pm, this person got out of the car and functional forces proceeded to check the alcohol concentration. After that, the male driver was taken to the Yen Hoa Ward Police headquarters for work.
Some witnesses said that before the collision, the car driven by the man was moving erratically on the road for about 700m, suspecting the driver had used alcohol.
At the scene, there were at least 5 cars and some motorbikes heavily damaged. Initial information, some people were injured and taken to the emergency room.
