On April 11, Son La Provincial People's Committee organized the 2026 Job Fair in the area of Ho Chi Minh Fish Pond, Northwest Square, Chieng Coi ward.
The event was attended by more than 40 businesses, vocational education institutions, colleges, and universities, with a recruitment demand of more than 33,000 workers. Job positions span many fields such as manufacturing, industry, services, agriculture and labor export.

At the program, more than 1,500 workers, students, and soldiers of the armed forces had access to recruitment and enrollment information, and were also consulted and oriented on careers suitable to the reality of the labor market. The units directly recruited, received applications, and advised on going to work in the province, in the country, and abroad.

Recorded from early morning, many booths attracted a large number of students thanks to the participation of lecturers and consulting experts. Workers actively learn about job opportunities, income levels, working environment and support policies.
In addition, training institutions introduce innovative learning programs, focusing on practical skills and post-training adaptability. This content is of interest to many students.
Student Tong Xuan Viet, a 2nd year student majoring in industrial electricity, Son La College of Technology, shared: "I came to the festival to learn about jobs suitable for my major after graduation. However, there are still few businesses in the electrical and electronics sector, I hope that more units will participate in the future.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien - Vice Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee, said: "The Job Fair helps businesses and training institutions directly approach students and workers, thereby recruiting suitable human resources. This is also an opportunity for units to connect with localities, contributing to solving sustainable employment.

The job fair creates opportunities for workers and students to directly contact businesses, learn about job requirements and career orientation. This is an important solution to help Son La connect labor supply and demand, improve the quality of human resources and promote socio-economic development in the locality.
