According to Mr. To Xuan Thao - Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor, with nearly 400,000 workers working in over 20,000 units and enterprises; Quang Ninh province's workers are present and contribute their efforts in all sectors, occupations and fields of socio-economic development of the province.
Identifying the responsibility of trade union organizations and employees for local development, over the past time, the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor has always focused on organizing and coordinating many emulation movements in agencies, units and enterprises of all economic sectors.
Typical is the emulation movement "Excellent Enterprise", "Outstanding Entrepreneur", in recent years, the trade unions at all levels and a large number of employees in Quang Ninh province have enthusiastically responded with rich, practical, effective contents and forms, with many innovations. This is an outstanding and unique movement of Quang Ninh province, an environment and motivation for enterprises to strive for comprehensive development, improve production and business efficiency, solve employment, income, policies and regimes for employees.
As for the 28.7 Award, this is an annual award given on the occasion of the Vietnam Trade Union Day (July 28). The award is given to grassroots trade union officials who have many initiatives in trade union activities, take good care of workers' lives, are trusted by business owners, and are loved by union members.
In order to recognize and honor exemplary grassroots union officials and excellent enterprises, at the program, the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the "July 28 Award" to 17 outstanding grassroots union chairmen.
Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee awarded 1 flag and 7 certificates of merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Excellent Enterprise" for the period 2020 - 2022.
On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor also awarded the 2024 “Beauty of Trade Unions and Workers” Photo Contest to 26 authors with outstanding works. The contest was launched and implemented from May 1 to July 10, 2024 with 1,484 works by 1,221 authors participating, of which 975 works were published for voting.
On this occasion, the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor awarded prizes to outstanding performances at the "Quang Ninh Provincial Workers' and Workers' Art Performance" in 2024. The performance was held on the same morning with the participation of 19 delegations from the Labor Federations at district, town, and city levels, industry trade unions, and provincial civil servant trade unions, including 65 performances in many genres of singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments.
