On August 29, Area Management Working Group No. 5 (Group 5) of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HFF) and the Tam Thang Ward Labor Union held a conference to announce the decision on personnel work, launching the Ward Labor Union Executive Committee.
The conference announced the decision to establish the Tam Thang Ward Trade Union under the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, and Vice Chairman of the Tam Thang Ward Trade Union.
In which, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union; Ms. Luu Thi Anh Tuyet was appointed to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Ward Trade Union along with 9 members of the Executive Committee.
Within no more than 12 months from the date of appointment, the Executive Committee of the Tam Thang Ward Trade Union (including 11 comrades) must hold a meeting to elect a new Executive Committee.
Ms. Pham Thu Huong - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - congratulated the Executive Committee of the Tam Thang Ward Labor Union after its launch. At the same time, he requested the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee to quickly stabilize the apparatus and implement the work program for the remaining months of 2025. In particular, focusing on promoting the good labor movement and creative labor; paying attention to developing union members, building a strong grassroots union organization; continuing to focus on caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers in the area.
On this occasion, Group 5 and the Tam Thang Ward Trade Union also organized a giving of 10 gifts to encourage female workers in difficult circumstances in the ward.
