According to the female vice principal, the time working as a manager is not long, so her love for the profession and desire to teach are still intact. In 3 years in charge of management work, she also accumulated more experience. If she returns to being a teacher, this experience can better support her in her profession.
Sharing the same view, Ms. Bui Thi Toan - Vice Principal of Tu Son Primary and Secondary School, Muong Dong commune - said that she feels comfortable if she returns to work as a teacher.
She is originally a Literature teacher and believes that in the context that many schools still lack human resources to teach, returning to professional skills is also a practical way to contribute.
And Ms. Dinh Thi Hau - Vice Principal of Dong Bac Primary & Secondary School, Muong Dong commune - has just written a petition to return to the podium after 27 years of management work.
Ms. Hau said that she does not feel pressured by this decision, because many years of attachment to the education sector have helped her gain more experience in expertise and student management.
When returning to the position of teacher, she is ready to start working with a new mindset. Standing in class is a job that has been associated with since the early days of her career, so if assigned, she will happily accept and continue to contribute to students.
About 2,100 principals and vice principals will be reduced
According to the overall plan for arranging public educational institutions in Phu Tho province, the school block under the People's Committees of communes and wards currently has 1,698 facilities, including 650 kindergartens, 439 primary schools, 391 secondary schools and 218 primary - secondary schools.
After arrangement, this block still has 516 schools, a decrease of 1,182 focal points, equivalent to 69.6%; at the same time, there are 1,186 branches and 701 school sites.
The education institution block under communes and wards currently has 1,604 principals and 2,717 vice principals, totaling 4,321 people.
After arrangement, 516 main schools are expected to arrange 516 principals and 516 vice principals. At 1,186 branches, each branch is expected to arrange 1 vice principal.
Thus, after arrangement, the number of principals and vice principals will decrease by about 2,100 people.
According to the plan, redundant management officials who meet the standards and conditions are prioritized for transfer and arrangement at educational institutions that are still lacking management officials.
If it is suitable for expertise and meets the professional title standards of teachers, it may be considered for teaching arrangement.
In case they do not continue to hold positions or are arranged for positions with lower allowances due to arrangement, cadres who are eligible are entitled to reserve leadership position allowances according to regulations.
After arranging and transferring, if there is still surplus, then consider staff streamlining policies.
