On the evening of September 13, the grassroots Trade Union of Pou Hung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (address: Ninh Thanh ward, Tay Ninh province) coordinated with the Company's Board of Directors to organize the 14th Mid-Autumn Lantern Making Contest, creating a fun and useful playground for union members, workers and children of workers.
The program was attended by Mr. Tran Le Duy - Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien - Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Women's Union and leaders of the Fatherland Front Committee, People's Committee of Ninh Thanh ward, Duong Minh Chau commune, Tan Hoi commune.
Together with leaders of the Board of Directors and representatives of departments, workers, and laborers in the company.
This year's contest has the participation of more than 100 teams of company workers. With skillful hands and a spirit of coordination, the teams have created many beautiful lantern designs, showing the creativity and solidarity of union members and workers.
Not only competing, the program also brought practical gifts for union members' children. The Organizing Committee presented 200 cakes and lanterns to children participating in the program; and at the same time presented gifts to encourage 11 children of union members with special circumstances.
The contest has become an opportunity for the Trade Union, businesses and workers' families to become more connected. The activity also shows the practical concern and care of the Trade Union organization and the Company's Board of Directors for the lives of union members and workers, especially children of workers.
