The program does not limit the number of works participating in the program by individuals or groups, but the length of each participating work must not exceed 7 minutes. The organizing committee will award many monthly or quarterly prizes, and annual prizes.
The program is organized to create a healthy playground, promote cultural and artistic movements among workers and employees in the industry. In particular, the program will contribute to spreading newly composed songs about the industry as well as promptly discovering and nurturing talented and artistic elements. Discovering and nurturing talented and artistic elements is very important today, because this is one of the important bases for building and enriching the spiritual life of union members and workers, especially in industries with many union members and workers like the Vietnam Textile and Garment industry.
One special thing is that the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union has created a QR code to continuously update the lyrics and karaoke beats of the participating songs. This shows that the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union not only innovates in propaganda and education activities - activities implemented from the needs of union members and workers, but also concretizes the digital transformation process of the Trade Union.
Currently, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union directly manages 116 grassroots trade unions headquartered in the North, Central and South regions with a total of 104,808 union members/110,322 workers, of which female union members account for over 70%.
In addition, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union participates with local Labor Federations to coordinate the management of Textile and Garment Trade Unions in Binh Duong, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City with a total of 120 grassroots Trade Unions, 34,903 union members/38,635 workers. Therefore, there is always a need for innovation in activities to meet the needs of union members and workers.
