As one of 95 typical families of workers, civil servants, and laborers nationwide in the period 2021-2026 commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day, the family of Mr. Dang Van Hoa - Head of Quality Management Department, Bac Ninh General Hospital No. 1 - is proof of the image of a family in the new era.
Having been attached to the medical industry for many years, Mr. Dang Van Hoa has always been known by colleagues as a person dedicated to his work.
In his position as Head of Quality Management Department, he advised on implementing a series of solutions to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, applying modern management standards such as ISO, Lean, 5S and quality criteria of the Ministry of Health.
In 2024 alone, the hospital has accepted 93 quality improvement projects, contributing to shortening waiting times for examination, reducing professional errors, improving patient satisfaction and the operational efficiency of the medical team.
Those contributions helped him continuously excellently complete his tasks for many years, and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister along with many other noble awards.
However, for Mr. Hoa, the greatest success is not only in numbers or professional achievements but also in a family that is always full of love and understanding.
His wife, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le, is currently Head of the Emergency, Intensive Care and Poison Control Department, Bac Ninh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital No. 1. Both work in the medical industry - a special profession with overnight shifts, emergency calls regardless of holiday or Tet.
Precisely because they understand each other's professional pressures, he and his wife always agree on a life motto: not to let one person bear all family matters. When his wife is busy with emergency care, he proactively takes her children to school, guides them to study, takes care of meals and arranges family activities so that his wife can feel secure in treating patients.
Sharing is not helping, but the responsibility of both", that is also how his family has maintained happiness for many years.
That companionship has created a home where each member has conditions to develop. Ms. Nguyen Thi Le has continuously achieved the title of Grassroots Emulation Soldier for many years, was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and won the First Prize at the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest.
The couple's two children also extended the family's tradition of studiousness. Daughter Dang Thuy Duong won the first prize in the provincial-level scientific and technical research competition and had a topic selected to participate in the national-level competition. Dang Minh Quan's son has been a good student for many years, winning prizes in the Math and Chemistry exams.
Mr. Hoa's family is a vivid slice of the family of workers and civil servants in the new era. As economic life becomes increasingly stable, the quality of life is not only improved by income but also nurtured by culture of behavior, equality in the family and the joint nurturing of the young generation.
