On June 14, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the Quang Tri Newspaper and Radio and Television Trade Union had just organized the first mixed men's and women's volleyball tournament in 2026. This is a practical activity towards celebrating the 101st anniversary of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2026).
The tournament attracted nearly 60 athletes from 6 football teams representing 6 trade union groups under the Quang Tri Newspaper and Radio and Television Trade Union to compete.
With careful preparation and the spirit of sportsmanship, unity, honesty and nobility, the teams dedicated many exciting and attractive matches, receiving enthusiastic encouragement from a large number of officials, union members and employees in the agency.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Office Trade Union; the second prize belonged to the Trade Union of the Technical - Technology Department. The third prize was also awarded to the Trade Union of the Specialized Department and the Trade Union of the Secretariat - Editorial Department. Two consolation prizes belonged to the Trade Union of the News Department and the Trade Union of the Service - Advertising Department.
The tournament is organized to celebrate the 101st anniversary of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day, and at the same time to ignite and maintain the movement of exercising and improving health among officials, civil servants, and workers.
This is not only a practical sports activity but also an opportunity for union members to strengthen exchanges, tighten solidarity, contribute to building a dynamic and creative working environment and successfully complete assigned professional tasks.
