On June 12, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the grassroots trade union of An Thai Cassava Starch Processing Joint Stock Company had just organized a men's and women's football tournament for union members and employees throughout the company.
The activity is organized to respond to Workers' Month, Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health in 2026 and to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
The tournament gathers 4 men's and 2 women's football teams to compete, attracting a large number of union members and workers to cheer. The matches are exciting and attractive with many beautiful plays, showing the spirit of solidarity, honesty and nobility.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize and 1 Second Prize to teams with outstanding achievements in each competition category; and awarded 4 individual prizes to the players who scored the most goals.
The tournament not only creates a lively and useful playground but also contributes to building a united and close working environment, thereby encouraging union members and workers to enthusiastically emulate in labor and production, and successfully complete assigned tasks.
