On the evening of August 27, at Vocational College No. 1 (Thai Nguyen), the Political Department of Military Region 1 coordinated with the National Defense Trade Union and the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation to organize the "Understanding and disseminating the law in 2026" contest with the theme "Connecting Trade Unions - Spreading the awareness of respecting the law".
Major General Duong Van Quang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 1 attended and directed the contest.

Also attending were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Major General Le Van Tho - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Political Department of the Military Region, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest; along with delegates from agencies under the General Staff, General Department of Politics, General Department of Logistics - Technology, General Department of National Defense Industry, Military Region 2, Military Region 3, Military Region 4, Air Defense - Air Force Service, Navy Service...
Participating in the contest were 4 teams from the Trade Union of the Logistics - Technical Department of Military Region 1; Trade Union of Vocational College No. 1; Trade Union of Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Joint Stock Company and Trade Union of Dasen Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd.
The teams went through 3 competitions: Greetings - Knowledge - Propaganda, bringing exciting and attractive competitions, showing elaborate preparation, solidarity and solid legal knowledge.
As a result of the contest, the first prize belonged to the Trade Union of Vocational Secondary School No. 1 - Military Region 1; Second prize belonged to the Trade Union of the Logistics - Technical Department, Military Region 1.
The third prize includes the Trade Union of Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Joint Stock Company and the Trade Union of Dasen Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd.

With practical content and lively propaganda forms, the contest not only creates a useful playground, improving legal propaganda skills for officials and union members, but also contributes to bringing the law closer to union members and workers, building awareness of respecting and complying with the law in agencies, units, and businesses.
This is also a practical activity in response to Vietnam Law Day, contributing to spreading the spirit of "Living and working according to the Constitution and laws" among officials, union members, and workers.
