The Fire and Rescue Police force of Hanoi City Police is coordinating with local forces to deploy firefighting at a warehouse of Ngoc Dung Phuong Dong Company, Phung Chau Industrial Cluster, Chuong My ward, Hanoi City.
At about 8 am on August 28, flames accompanied by black smoke rose high in the warehouse area of Chuong My ward. The incident was quickly reported by people to the 114 switchboard of Hanoi City Police.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Area 28, Fire and Rescue Police Department (Hanoi City Police) quickly deployed forces and vehicles to the scene.
According to initial information, the fire occurred in an area concentrated with many garment factories and tire manufacturing facilities in Phung Chau area, Chuong My ward. This area is adjacent to Hoai Duc commune.
Currently, Hanoi City Police are directing forces to coordinate in deploying fire fighting plans, preventing fire spread and searching, rescuing, and rescuing.
Information about the damage and cause of the fire is being further clarified by functional agencies.
