Previously, Mr. Cao Van Tuan, from Thanh Hoa, currently a worker at Nissei Electric Hanoi Co., Ltd., had previously completed procedures to register to buy a social housing. However, at that time, because his wife, also a worker, had just quit her job at the old company, and could not obtain the confirmation of some required documents, she could not complete the procedures. Currently, Mr. Tuan and his wife and 2 young children are renting an apartment in the worker housing area, Thang Long Industrial Park. Determined to be attached to working life here, Mr. Tuan and his wife really want to buy a social housing to feel secure in working, contributing and taking care of their children's education.
Also stemming from practical needs, Mr. Duong Van Thuan - DENSO Vietnam Co., Ltd. expressed his desire for the emulation movement to continue to be organized regularly so that he and his colleagues have conditions to promote creativity, have ideas and initiatives to increase productivity, bring benefits to the business as well as to themselves. It is known that at DENSO Vietnam Co., Ltd., the initiative and creativity movement was launched and received the response of more than 90% of workers. Valuable initiatives and creations are rewarded. According to Mr. Thuan, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor launched the movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" with profound meaning, which will create motivation to promote the creativity of workers, thereby increasing income for themselves. ...
Closer, more practical, stronger
Promoting the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the Vietnam Trade Union organization, on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, the VGCL unanimously decided to take July 2026 as the "Month of listening to union members and workers speak" of the Vietnam Trade Union organization. This activity also aims to improve the quality of dialogue, strengthen the close relationship between the Trade Union organization and union members and workers; consolidate the trust of union members and workers in the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Trade Union organization. Thereby, contributing to innovating the operating methods of trade union levels in the direction of being close to union members and workers, close to grassroots levels, listening to reality, acting drastically, taking the satisfaction of union members and workers and the results of resolving recommendations as a measure of the effectiveness of the Trade Union organization's activities; and at the same time contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.
The "Month of listening to union members and workers speak" will be organized at grassroots trade unions; commune, ward, special zone trade unions; trade unions of industrial parks, export processing zones, special upper-level grassroots trade unions; Provincial and City Labor Federations, industry trade unions, economic groups trade unions, and corporations directly under the General Confederation. Organizational entities will coordinate with employers, authorities or industrial park management boards to organize this activity to listen to the opinions of union members and workers. The form of organization also needs to be suitable for the organizational entity, for example, for commune, ward, and special zone trade unions, meetings, contacts, and direct dialogues will be organized. Regarding content, grassroots trade unions focus on practical issues that are of concern to union members and workers such as employment, salaries, bonuses, income, working hours, rest hours; working conditions, safety, occupational hygiene; lunch meals; social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance regimes; housing, kindergartens, cultural institutions; vocational skills training, digital transformation, green transformation; promoting initiatives, deploying the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income"...

After dialogue, opinions and recommendations must be fully summarized, classified, and answered according to authority; trade union levels proactively coordinate with Party committees, authorities, business owners and related units to monitor, urge, and participate in resolving; supervise the resolution; promptly inform union members and workers of the results of resolution; take the satisfaction level of union members and workers as a criterion for evaluating effectiveness.
Organizing activities "Month of listening to union members and workers speak" must be implemented seriously, synchronously, practically, and effectively throughout the Vietnam Trade Union system; striving for at least 80% of grassroots trade unions to organize activities, ensuring appropriate composition and time, dialogue content close to reality, stemming from the needs, aspirations, and practices of union members and workers, focusing on issues of concern to a large number of union members and workers; prioritizing urgent issues arising at grassroots levels, enterprises, industrial parks, export processing zones and areas with a large concentration of union members and workers.
