The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province has signed Decision No. 2194/QD-UBND on the establishment of a Steering Committee for the implementation of social insurance (SI), health insurance (HI) and unemployment insurance (UI) policies in the province.
According to the decision, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is the Head of the Steering Committee; the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of the cultural and social field plays the role of Permanent Deputy Head of the Committee. Other Deputy Heads of the Board include the Director of the Provincial Social Insurance, the Director of the Department of Home Affairs and the Director of the Department of Health. The Steering Committee has 28 members who are leaders of departments, branches and related organizations.
The Steering Committee is responsible for advising the Provincial People's Committee in developing and assigning targets for developing social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance participants and including them in the province's annual socio-economic development targets system. At the same time, mobilize legal resources, combine support from the state budget for farmers, poor households, near-poor people and ethnic minorities to expand coverage.
In addition, the Steering Committee will direct and supervise propaganda work, administrative procedure reform, digital transformation, as well as inspect and check compliance with social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies at units and enterprises, especially those that are late in paying or show signs of evasion.
Tay Ninh Social Insurance is assigned as a standing agency, responsible for advising, developing operating regulations of the Steering Committee, synthesizing and submitting to the Head of the Committee for consideration and approval of related contents.
