Towards the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), on July 22, the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation said that the Management Board of the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund Branch in Long An (old) coordinated with the Trade Union of Privina Company Limited (Khanh Hau Ward, Tay Ninh Province) to organize a house-granting ceremony for the "Union Shelter" to union member Vo Thi Phuong (residing in Doc Binh Kieu Commune, Dong Thap Province).
The house was built with an area of 85 square meters (17m long, 5m wide), including foundation and reinforced concrete columns, built walls, roofed with this, and cement paving. The total construction cost was 140 million VND, of which the Golden Heart Fund in Long An (old) supported 70 million VND, the rest was supported by family and relatives, including construction days.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation and the Trade Union of Privina Company Limited came to congratulate and present meaningful gifts to Ms. Phuong's family, contributing to encouraging her spirit and helping her stabilize her life.
The awarding of "Union Shelter" houses not only helps workers in difficult circumstances settle down and work, but also clearly demonstrates the role and responsibility of the trade union organization in accompanying union members, contributing to building a fair and humane society.
