Metex Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) has been operating since February 2026 with a total of 30 employees. During the mobilization process, the Steering Committee for establishing grassroots trade unions has propagated and disseminated to employees about the role, rights and responsibilities when participating in the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
As a result, 30 employees working at the company voluntarily wrote applications to join the Vietnam Trade Union. The union members agreed to hold a congress to establish a grassroots trade union according to the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
At the congress, the Mobilization Committee officially announced the establishment of the grassroots Trade Union of Metex Co., Ltd. (Vietnam). Representatives of workers expressed their desire to build a strong trade union organization, contributing to caring for life, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; and at the same time, accompanying businesses to develop stably.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Trong Danh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union congratulated the newly established grassroots trade union, and at the same time expected the Executive Committee to promote the role of a bridge between businesses and workers, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at the unit.
The Congress also elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for the 2026-2030 term, consisting of 3 members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuan was trusted to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Metex Co., Ltd. (Vietnam).
In addition, the congress elected the Inspection Committee consisting of 3 members. In which, Ms. Huynh Trinh Anh Dao holds the position of Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee.
