Towards the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), on July 21, the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had organized a handover ceremony for the "Union Shelter" to union members with difficult housing circumstances.
Attending and presenting the house was Mr. Tran Le Duy - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.
In Tam Vu commune, the house given to Mr. Vo Ngoc Thuong has an area of 60 square meters, with a total construction cost of 100 million VND, of which the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund Branch in Long An (old) supported 70 million VND, the rest was contributed by family and relatives.
In Tan An ward, Mr. Do Minh Tri was also given a house with a similar area, with a total cost of 120 million VND, of which the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund Branch in Long An (old) supported 70 million VND, the rest was taken care of by his family.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Tran Le Duy congratulated the families who received new housing support, and acknowledged and thanked the support of the locality, organizations and individuals in caring for union members' lives.
He hopes that in the coming time, all levels and sectors will continue to pay attention and support so that many union members and workers in difficult circumstances can settle down and stabilize their lives.
