On the afternoon of January 20, the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" with many meaningful activities to share and connect love, bringing a joyful and warm atmosphere before the New Year of At Ty 2025 for union members and workers in the province.
Attending the event were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation, Provincial Federation of Labor, Industry Union, City Federation of Labor, Trade Union under the Provincial Federation of Labor and nearly 400 union members and workers representing more than 8,000 union members and workers receiving Tet gifts in 2025.
At the program, the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor symbolically presented 10 "Union Shelter" houses to union members with difficult housing circumstances with a total support amount of 450 million VND, to help union members have a warm roof, work and work with peace of mind; at the same time, contributing to the province's goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025. Nearly 400 gifts (including cash and necessities) were given to union members and workers with difficult circumstances to celebrate the New Year.
Sharing joy with union members and workers at the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang", Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien - Standing Deputy Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee - emphasized: The program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" is a practical activity, directly demonstrating the concern of the Trade Union organization in taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers in general, especially workers in difficult circumstances every time Tet comes and Spring comes.
Mr. Hien suggested that the Trade Union at all levels continue to pay attention, have policies to support and improve the material and spiritual life of workers; focus on training, equipping legal knowledge, ensuring security and order, fighting against social evils so that workers have a safe and healthy living and working environment.
On behalf of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Ms. Huynh Ut Muoi - President of the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor - said: This year's "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" program is based on the spirit of "All union members and workers have Tet", "Where there are workers and laborers facing difficulties, there is the Trade Union" to create a joyful, warm and exciting atmosphere among union members and workers, demonstrating the concern of the Trade Union organization, Party committees at all levels, local authorities, and enterprises to union members and workers on the occasion of Tet; thereby encouraging union members and workers to continue to accompany enterprises in competing in labor production, improving productivity and product quality, contributing to both ensuring employment and income for workers and actively contributing to building sustainable business development.
On behalf of nearly 400 union members and workers attending, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Yen - a union member of the Nam Can Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company - emotionally said: "Receiving the care of all levels, sectors and especially the Trade Union organization makes me and many union members and workers feel warm. Moreover, this is also the belief and motivation to strive to improve and complete the task well".
Previously, the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor organized delegations to visit businesses in the province and presented over 1,300 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
