On February 4, Mr. Thai Ngoc Son - Chairman of Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had just organized the awarding of 180 gifts in the "Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program in 2026 to union members and workers in difficult circumstances working at affiliated grassroots trade unions.
Each Tet gift includes cash worth 500,000 VND, handed directly to union members and workers to promptly support and encourage workers before the New Year.

When just receiving funding allocated from the Provincial Labor Federation, Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union immediately deployed to give gifts, ensuring the right people, the right needs, and not letting union members in difficult circumstances be missed.
Phu Thuy Ward is a large area, belonging to the former Binh Thuan province, with scattered labor force. Workers at grassroots trade unions mainly work in seafood processing, tourism - services and medical facilities.
These are all industries that are heavily affected by market fluctuations, and the lives of a part of union members are still facing many difficulties.
According to Mr. Thai Ngoc Son, Tet reunion not only has the meaning of material support but also is a sharing and spiritual encouragement, helping union members and workers feel the concern and companionship of the trade union organization.

Through this activity, the trade union hopes to add motivation for workers to feel secure in sticking with their jobs, striving to work and produce, contributing to stabilizing life and local economic development.
In addition to giving gifts during Tet, Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union has also regularly grasped the thoughts and aspirations of union members in difficult circumstances; coordinated with grassroots trade unions to propose timely support for cases of illness and special circumstances.
The Trade Union also focuses on connecting socialized resources, mobilizing units and businesses to join hands to care for workers.
The program "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" continues to affirm the role of the trade union organization as a reliable support for union members and workers, especially in difficult times, contributing to each worker having a warmer and more fulfilling Tet.
