On May 26, An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized a working delegation to visit and support union members and workers (NLĐ) in difficult circumstances, who have suffered from labor accidents, occupational diseases, and critical illnesses working at trade unions and businesses in Kien Luong, Co To communes and Ha Tien, To Chau wards to respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
Accordingly, the delegation came to present support packages to union members and workers working at Ha Tien Packaging Joint Stock Company, Trung Son Seafood Processing Joint Stock Company, Ha Tien Bicycle Union, and An Giang Stone Mining and Processing One Member Limited Liability Company.

Speaking at the visit, Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tien - Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation - informed: Responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, trade union levels in the province have implemented many practical activities to care for union members and workers. In which, the Provincial Labor Federation supported nearly 2,300 scholarships for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, occupational diseases, and labor accidents.
From the beginning of 2026 to now, the Provincial Labor Federation has cared for and supported nearly 15,000 turns of union members and workers with a total budget of nearly 15 billion VND, continuing to affirm its role in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

At the places visited, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation cordially inquired about the employment situation, income, and living standards of union members and workers; and acknowledged the coordination of the Enterprise Board of Directors in caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers and accompanying the Trade Union organization in building harmonious and stable labor relations at the enterprise.
In this phase, the delegation of the Provincial Labor Federation presented 50 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND and 2 gifts to support union members who suffered from labor accidents and critical illnesses, each worth 1 million VND.

According to the leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, although the gifts are not of great value, they show the concern and companionship of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers in difficult circumstances; wishing union members and workers to continue to strive to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, feel secure in labor production, and be attached to the business for a long time.
