On June 30, information from the Yen Bai Ward Trade Union, 4 grassroots trade unions have just been established, including: Son Hoa Transport and Trading Joint Stock Company's grassroots trade union with 144 members; Tam Tin Thanh Co., Ltd.'s grassroots trade union with 16 members; MPT Yen Bai Trading Co., Ltd.'s grassroots trade union with 16 members and the Yen Bai Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board's grassroots trade union with 15 members.
At the program, leaders of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation and Yen Bai Ward Trade Union awarded decisions to establish grassroots trade unions, appointed interim Executive Committees, and encouraged units to continue to promote the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
On this occasion, the trade union presented 20 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances from 4 newly established units, with a total value of 6 million VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that the establishment of new grassroots trade unions contributes to expanding the network of trade union organizations while improving the effectiveness of caring for, representing and protecting the rights of union members and workers.
