On August 1st, Phu Loi Ward Trade Union organized an expanded Executive Committee meeting for the first 6 months of the year, deploying directions for the last 6 months of 2026 and celebrating the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Attending the conference were representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, leaders of Phu Loi ward and more than 100 delegates who are grassroots trade union officials.
At the conference, Ms. Pham Thi Huong Lan - Chairwoman of Phu Loi Ward Trade Union reported on the results of activities in the first 6 months of the year, deploying activities directions for the last 6 months of 2026; recalling the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Within the framework of the program, Phu Loi Ward Trade Union signed cooperation agreements with units to develop welfare for union members and workers; awarded scholarships to children of workers in difficult circumstances from the CEP Microfinance Fund; propagated the harmful effects of drugs, drug prevention and control among workers, civil servants, and laborers; launched the Green Trade Union model - Undrug-free Union members.

Notably, the conference announced the decision to establish 5 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS), to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The newly established grassroots trade unions include: Trade union of Chan Hung Project Investment and Development Co., Ltd., Trade union of Zhong Li Vietnam Lift Co., Ltd., Trade union of Muoi Tam Cong Binh Duong Joint Stock Company, Trade union of TCVALUE Valuation Joint Stock Company, Trade union of Hai San 68 Trading and Service Co., Ltd.
Phu Loi Ward Trade Union said that in the first months of the year, the Ward Trade Union has developed and newly established 29 grassroots trade unions at enterprises, admitting over 600 union members.
