On June 20, at Con Phung Tourism - Service - Trading Co., Ltd., the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Vinh Long province Cluster 1 (Provincial Labor Federation Party Committee) organized a periodic meeting for the first 6 months of 2026 to assess the results of Party work tasks, political tasks and propose directions and solutions for implementation in the last months of the year.
Attending the conference were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; along with leaders of directly affiliated party cells and all party members in the Party Committee.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh said that the first 6 months of 2026 are of great significance when focusing on bringing the Resolution of the XIV Congress into life, deploying tasks in the context of many difficulties and challenges.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh said that, closely following the direction of superiors, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province promoted solidarity and concretized the resolution; the conference assessed the results and proposed solutions for the last 6 months of the year.
In the first 6 months of the year, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations promoted solidarity; implemented social security with 368,000 gifts, built 513 new houses, repaired 30 houses, with a budget of 32.5 billion VND.
Party building work has changed, 100% of party members participate in studying and thoroughly grasping resolutions; the rate of login and interaction with Electronic Handbooks reached 99.48%; 3 new party members were admitted, reaching 150% of the year's target.
Besides the achieved results, the conference also frankly pointed out some limitations such as propaganda work in some units still lacking innovation; grasping thoughts and public opinion among union members and workers is sometimes not timely; the progress of implementing some inspection and supervision content is still slow; the application of digital technology by a part of party members is not regular.
Delegates focused on discussing and evaluating the advantages and difficulties in performing tasks, and at the same time proposed solutions to improve the quality of political and ideological education, strengthen digital transformation in the Party, improve the effectiveness of inspection and supervision, and promote the role of leaders in performing political tasks at agencies and units.
Speaking to direct at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung acknowledged the opinions at the conference, highly appreciated the Party Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation department for applying AI and reporting digitization, improving management and administration efficiency.
Ms. Nhung directed the organization of in-depth political activities through specific activities; promulgated specific and systematicized documents, improved the quality of thematic activities. She requested to grasp and promptly resolve labor disputes at enterprises without trade union organizations; review the "four good Party Committees" model, improve the quality and exemplary nature of Party members throughout the Party Committee.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung noted to closely coordinate the transfer of the Party Committee of the Workers' Department of Giao Long Industrial Park to the Party Committee of Giao Long commune for management, ensuring compliance with regulations to stabilize the organization.
Party Secretary emphasized strengthening inspection and urging, ensuring 100% of party members log in and interact effectively on the Electronic Party Member Handbook, improving discipline and the effectiveness of Party activities.
On this occasion, the Party Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation department commended 14 typical party members in the second quarter of 2026 to recognize their positive contributions to Party building work, and at the same time spread advanced examples throughout the Party Committee.
