On May 8, the Kon Tum Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the Standing Committee of the Kon Tum City Federation of Labor had just held a ceremony to establish the Trade Union of Bac Tay Nguyen Automobile Joint Stock Company and admitted 136 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union.
At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of Kon Tum City Labor Federation decided to establish the grassroots trade union of Bac Tay Nguyen Automobile Joint Stock Company, appointing a provisional grassroots trade union executive committee of 9 members.
Mr. Vo Tan Duy - Business Director of Gia Lai Working Group - was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union; Mr. Le Duc Trong - Director of Kon Tum Working Group Showroom - held the position of Vice Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union and admitted 136 union members.
The company's leadership representative thanked the City Labor Federation for creating conditions for the company's employees to participate in the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
The company's leadership representative also expressed his hope that the grassroots trade union will become a positive bridge between the collective of employees and the company's leadership. Thereby, contributing to building a professional working environment, taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers.
