Attending the Congress on June 6 were Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Tay Ninh Economic Zone Trade Union. On the enterprise's side, there were Mr. GUO CHANGSHENG - General Director of the company and more than 40 workers, representing 228 workers who have applied to join the union.
After a serious and democratic working process, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 3 people, in which Mr. Lao Cong Thien, assistant director of the company, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien congratulated the establishment of the grassroots trade union at Kijo Battery Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), and emphasized the important role of the Trade Union organization in building a harmonious, stable and progressive labor relationship at the business, and is a solid bridge between workers and the Board of Directors. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien also expressed her belief that the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union will promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, well implementing the role of representing and protecting the rights of union members and employees, contributing to the sustainable development of the company.
Mr. Lao Cong Thien, Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, expressed his emotion and honor at receiving the trust of union members, and pledged to work with the Executive Committee to make every effort, listen to the aspirations of workers, build a strong grassroots Trade Union of the company, truly a common home for all employees of KIJO BATtersY Company Limited (Vietnam).
