On November 25, Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that it had just coordinated with Mavin Anh Son Company Limited to organize a Congress to establish grassroots trade unions and admit 75 union members. The Congress elected an Executive Committee of 3 members; comrade Dau Thi My Linh was elected to hold the position of President of the Trade Union.
The congress was attended and directed by representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor, company leaders and 75 workers of the enterprise. At the congress, the Mobilization Committee announced the decision to establish the Mavin Anh Son Company Limited Trade Union with 75 union members.
In his speech, the representative of the Provincial Federation of Labor congratulated the new Executive Committee and requested the Trade Union to soon develop regulations to coordinate with the Board of Directors, deploy democratic regulations at the grassroots level, negotiate and build collective labor agreements; at the same time, launch practical emulation movements, take good care of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
Deputy Director of Mavin Anh Son Company Limited - Mr. Le Trung Cong expressed his hope that the Trade Union will be a bridge connecting workers and enterprises, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
On behalf of the Executive Committee, Chairwoman of the Trade Union Dau Thi My Linh thanked the attention of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Board of Directors of the Company; affirmed that the Executive Board will unite and closely coordinate with employers, build a stable working environment, and contribute to the overall development of the enterprise.
