According to the decision, the Executive Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union of Japan Interim Vocational Skills School consists of 3 members. Ms. Do Thi Thuy Kieu was appointed as Chairwoman; Mr. Nguyen Chi Dai is the Executive Committee Member; Ms. Nguyen Pham Minh Anh is the Executive Committee Member, in charge of inspection work.
The Executive Committee of the Provisional Grassroots Trade Union operates according to the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; assigns tasks, develops plans and implements trade union activities from the date of recognition of establishment. Within 12 months from the date of establishment, the Executive Committee of the Provisional Grassroots Trade Union prepares content, documents, personnel and necessary conditions to organize the Trade Union Congress according to regulations.
According to the Can Tho City Labor Federation, in the past term, the City Trade Union developed 10,237 new union members, established 69 grassroots trade unions; introduced 4,472 outstanding union members to the Party, of which 3,026 comrades were admitted. After the merger, the whole city has 881 grassroots trade unions and professional unions with about 140,000 union members.
Japan Vocational Skills Intermediate School (My Xuyen ward, Can Tho city) officially inaugurated and opened its first school year in October 2025. The school was formed on the basis of the Cooperation Memorandum signed in 2023 between Esuhai Company and Soc Trang Provincial People's Committee, now Can Tho City. With 3 key contents: training and sending human resources to Japan; connecting cooperation between localities and Japanese businesses; building Japanese-standard vocational schools.
