At about 4:30 am on January 17, at Km225+148 National Highway 6, passing through Chieng Hac commune (Son La province), a particularly serious traffic accident occurred, killing 3 people and injuring 1 person.
According to initial information, at the above time, a passenger car with license plate 26F-008.51 driven by Mr. Nguyen Van Huong was traveling in the direction of Hanoi - Son La.
When arriving at the bridgehead area, the car suddenly collided with the signal system and corrugated iron guardrail (suspected to be due to brake jam), then overturned onto the bridgehead embankment.

The accident occurred in the early morning, killing 3 people on the spot, and 1 injured person was taken to Yen Chau General Hospital for emergency treatment.
The passenger car was heavily damaged, and some traffic safety items in the area were also damaged.
Immediately after the incident occurred, Road Management Unit No. 10 coordinated with the Traffic Police force, Road Management Office I.1 and local authorities to organize rescue, rescue, protect the scene and divert traffic, ensuring smooth traffic on National Highway 6.

According to functional agencies, at the time of the accident, the traffic safety signal system in the area was full, and the road surface was smooth.
Currently, the cause of the accident is still being investigated and clarified according to the provisions of law.
Immediately after receiving the information, Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Viet was directly present at the scene, directing functional forces to urgently deploy rescue and relief work and overcome the consequences.
At the same time, visiting and encouraging the victims and requesting the health sector to maximize resources to provide timely emergency and treatment, ensuring the health of the injured.
