Kien An Ward Trade Union, Hai Phong City has just organized a Conference to announce decisions on admitting union members, establishing grassroots trade unions; professional training on Trade Union inspection work for grassroots trade union officials (CĐCS) and giving Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children of union members and workers (NLĐ) in 2026.
Attending the Conference were Comrade Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ); Nguyen Thien Kim, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Kien An Ward.
At the Conference, decisions of the City Labor Federation on admitting union members and establishing 4 grassroots trade unions were announced, including: Trade Union of Tuan Minh Transport Service Trading Co., Ltd.; Trade Union of Huu Nghi Construction and Trading Mechanical Joint Stock Company; Trade Union of Edison Integrated Education Institute Joint Stock Company and Trade Union of VCC-Shipping Maritime Human Resources Joint Stock Company.
According to the decisions, 53 employees at 4 enterprises were admitted to the Vietnam Trade Union. At the same time, the Provisional Executive Committee and officials in charge of inspecting grassroots trade unions were appointed. The establishment of trade union organizations contributes to expanding the gathering area of employees, creating conditions to care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and employees at enterprises.
Also at the Conference, representatives of the City Labor Federation directly conveyed contents on trade union inspection nghiệp vụ, including: some general issues on trade union inspection and supervision work; inspection procedures and contents. Through training, grassroots trade union officials have consolidated their knowledge and skills to perform inspection and supervision tasks, contributing to improving the quality of trade union activities at the grassroots level.
On the occasion of the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival, the Ward Trade Union organized the presentation of 170 gifts from the City Labor Federation to grassroots trade unions, dedicated to children of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances in the area.
