The Government issued Resolution No. 207/NQ-CP dated August 2, 2026 on the dossier of the Project on establishing wards under Bac Ninh province.
The Government decided to approve the dossier of the Project on establishing wards under Bac Ninh province at the request of the Ministry of Home Affairs in Official Dispatch No. 8182/TTr-BNV dated July 30, 2026.
The Ministry of Home Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to fully absorb the opinions of Government members to complete the submission, project, and draft Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the establishment of wards under Bac Ninh province according to regulations.
The Government assigns the Minister of Home Affairs, authorized by the Prime Minister, to represent the Government in signing the Submission, Project, Report on receiving, explaining, and revising the dossier of the Project to establish wards under Bac Ninh province according to the opinions of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
The Ministry of Home Affairs is fully responsible for the content of project dossiers, draft Resolutions and proposed issues, reports; prepare complete dossiers and documents to send to the National Assembly Standing Committee, ensuring quality and timeliness according to regulations; proactively report and explain to the National Assembly Standing Committee to ensure strictness and compliance with regulations; promptly report to the Prime Minister on issues arising beyond their authority.
Previously, Bac Ninh province issued Project No. 577/DA-UBND on the establishment of 12 wards under this province to meet the requirements of urban development, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and create motivation to promote socio-economic development in the new period.
According to the Project, 12 communes are expected to establish wards including: Yen Phong, Tien Du, Chi Lang, Phu Lang, Luong Tai, Gia Binh, Nhan Thang, Hiep Hoa, Bo Ha, Lang Giang, Kep and Luc Nam. These are all localities that play an important role in the urban development space of the province, with rapid urbanization, synchronous investment in technical and social infrastructure, meeting the standards for establishing wards according to the regulations of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
According to the planning orientation, all 12 localities are located on strategic development corridors of Bac Ninh province, playing the role of important growth centers and poles in industry, trade, services, logistics, high-tech agriculture and tourism.
