Responsibility is not only for trade unions
On September 7, at the Hall of the Party Committee of Hoi An Tay Ward, the Trade Union of Hoi An Tay Ward, Da Nang City organized a conference to propagate and mobilize workers to join the trade union organization and establish grassroots trade unions at Cosevco Hoi An Joint Stock Company.
Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, grassroots social insurance in Hoi An Tay, leaders of Hoi An Tay ward, along with representatives of the Police, Department of Culture - Society, ward trade union standing committee, leaders and related departments of Cosevco Hoi An Joint Stock Company and a large number of workers.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Bui Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Hoi An Tay Ward People's Committee emphasized that propagating and mobilizing the establishment of trade union organizations at enterprises is not only the responsibility of the ward trade union alone but also the entire ward political system participates.
According to Mr. Bui Van Dung, the formation of trade union organizations at enterprises is an important basis to work with enterprise leaders to better care for the lives of workers, and is a solid foundation for enterprises to operate stably, develop, and contribute to the sustainable development of the ward.
Therefore, the leaders of Hoi An Tay ward proposed that the leaders of Cosevco Hoi An Joint Stock Company pay attention to and create conditions to establish grassroots trade unions, and employees also trust and register to participate in the trade union organization to enjoy practical benefits.
Establishing a trade union organization is necessary
At the conference, employees of Cosevco Hoi An Joint Stock Company were informed by representatives of the Da Nang City Labor Federation about the basic contents of the position, role, and function of the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
At the same time, he emphasized the practical activities of the Da Nang City Labor Federation in the past time in caring for and protecting the rights of workers in the city.
In particular, Ms. Phan Thi Ha, Member of the Executive Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee, emphasized the necessity of establishing grassroots trade unions at enterprises.
Thereby forming a representative organization for workers, strengthening dialogue, contributing to building harmonious, stable, progressive labor relations and accompanying businesses for sustainable development.
The conference spent time exchanging and listening to the thoughts and aspirations of workers related to the trade union organization.
Within the framework of the program, representatives of the leadership of Cosevco Hoi An Joint Stock Company said that the establishment of a trade union organization at the company is necessary and expressed their agreement and created conditions for the formation of a trade union organization.
At the same time, wishing employees to participate in the trade union organization to join hands with business leaders to build a harmonious, stable, and developed working environment.
At the end of the conference, the Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union guided workers to sign voluntary applications to join the trade union organization; and at the same time guided the necessary procedures, gradually preparing the conditions for establishing a grassroots Trade Union at Cosevco Hoi An Joint Stock Company.
