On July 19, at the Binh Phuoc ward multi-purpose gymnasium, the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai City Labor Federation (Dong Nai City Labor Federation) organized a ceremony to commend children of workers, civil servants, and laborers "Good at studying - Good at living" for the first time, year 2026; "Health and Shopping Day" program for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
This year, Dong Nai city has more than 7,500 children of union members, civil servants, public employees, and laborers who achieved outstanding and typical achievements in studying and training, and achieved the title "Good Student - Good Living" commended by the City Labor Federation. This time, 471 children at all levels of education were honored, of which 395 children achieved "Excellent" achievements and 76 children achieved "Excellent Typical" achievements.
Speaking at the commendation ceremony, City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of Dong Nai City Labor Federation Nguyen Quoc Dung congratulated and praised the proud achievements of the children of workers, civil servants, and laborers who have been achieved. Among them, many children have overcome difficult circumstances to study well, live well, have families with 2 children commended, and some have been commended many times at all levels of education... This is not only the joy of the children themselves but also the pride of the family and school; at the same time, it shows the concern of the Trade Union organization.
Chairman of Dong Nai City Labor Federation Nguyen Quoc Dung expressed his wish that the students continue to strive, constantly learn, train, be creative, especially equip themselves with knowledge of foreign languages and digital skills.
Also at the program, the Organizing Committee also awarded 30 scholarships supported by the Golden Heart Charity Social Fund; 50 sets of English handwriting and reading pens for children of union members in difficult circumstances, contributing to adding motivation for them to continue to rise up in their studies and life.
Within the framework of the program, union members also have the opportunity to experience shopping at 14 welfare booths with preferential prices and promotional programs; to have general health check-ups and consultations, specialized health check-ups for female union members and workers; to have free screening tests for 25 blood and kidney diseases...
