On July 17, TKG Taekwang Vina Company announced to all union members and employees of the company about organizing "Trade Union Meal", celebrating the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union and the 32nd anniversary of the company's establishment.
Accordingly, "Trade Union Meals" aims to encourage and contribute to improving the welfare life of workers, thereby building harmonious, united, and cooperative labor relations for the goal of stability and business development.
Trade Union Meal" is organized on July 24 with a menu of savory dishes (fried chicken and garlic wings with fish sauce, stir-fried shrimp with garlic butter, boiled bok choy, bitter melon and snakehead fish soup); vegetarian dishes; savory dishes (steamed chicken noodles). All servings in "Trade Union Meal" have additional desserts including cakes, milk and fruit.
Workers working in the night shift will receive cakes, milk according to the shift meal and 1 pack of milk.
At the "Trade Union Meal" program of TKG Taekwang Vina, grassroots trade unions will provide support to 5 union members in difficult circumstances in the month, each case 10 million VND; provide support to 20 union members with difficult families, each case 3 million VND; and provide 1,500 support gifts for difficult circumstances, each gift being a 200,000 VND shopping voucher.
