This is information according to a survey by Anphabe Joint Stock Company.
Anphabe's "10 years of Vietnamese talent trends" report shows that if workers choose a workplace based only on brand reputation, it is not enough. Organizations must prove their financial capacity, transparent operations and ability to respond to fluctuations if they want to retain talent. This is a warning shift for businesses in the strategy of building a sustainable working environment.
According to Anphabe, the demand for Vietnamese human resources has many large shifts.
First, in terms of company reputation, although workers still want to find businesses with successful brands and reputable products, they still need more customer-oriented aspects and focus on customers. Instead of focusing on high salaries, large-scale enterprises and large financial potential; transparency and compliance with the law, workers wish for sustainable development, expressed through more specific issues.
The content related to culture and working environment, for the first time the criteria of trust - transparency are in the top 3 criteria that human resources want, instead of the criteria of friendliness - openness.
According to a survey by Anphabe, the employee trust and engagement index recorded a decrease.
The opinions of Vietnamese workers on the assessment of "believing in the company's vision and strategy" over the past 10 years show an alarming reality: From the level of 65% in 2016, the confidence index of employees in the change cycle witnessed a sharp decline, reaching the bottom of 49% in 2021, there has been an adjustment but still cannot be restored to the original level.
On the other hand, up to 45% of Vietnamese human resources show lack of cohesion or indifference to businesses, corresponding to their voluntary contribution rate of only about 11% and 53% - much lower than the group of highly engaged employees.
This shows that nearly half of human resources are working below their capacity, emphasizing the importance of reconnecting and restoring working motivation for zombie office - the biggest task in human resource management that businesses need to pay attention to - Ms. Thanh Nguyen, Director of Anphabe Joint Stock Company, commented.
