On September 12, the leader of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that the unit had just held a conference to announce and hand over the decision to establish the Gia Van Commune Trade Union with 33 grassroots trade unions and over 6,600 union members.
In addition, the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, and Vice Chairman of the Gia Van Commune Trade Union for the 2023 - 2028 term was announced. Mr. Dinh The Hung was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Gia Van Commune Trade Union.
The conference also announced the decision to transfer 33 grassroots unions and more than 6,600 union members to the Gia Van Commune Union to direct, manage and guide union activities.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor - emphasized that the establishment of the Gia Van Commune Trade Union is an important milestone, marking a new development step of the Trade Union organization in the grassroots political system; concretizing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on streamlining the organizational apparatus according to the model of a two-level local government.
The Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor also requested the Gia Van Commune Trade Union to quickly stabilize its organization and operation, the Executive Committee to urgently develop working regulations, assign specific tasks to members; focus on doing a good job of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; promote propaganda work, raise awareness of law compliance for union members and workers; organize patriotic emulation movements...
On this occasion, the Executive Committee of Gia Van Commune Trade Union launched a campaign to grassroots trade unions, union members, and workers to respond to the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", "Promoting initiatives, technical improvement" aimed at welcoming the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
