Enterprises are "thirsty" for human resources
During this period, more than 12,400 recruitment positions were opened at job fairs, attracting more than 300 businesses to participate. At the end of the year, recruitment demand continued to explode, especially in the fields of tourism - services, information technology, logistics, e-commerce and construction.
With the goal of welcoming 17.3 million overnight guests in 2025, especially the return of Chinese tourists, Da Nang city is "thirsty" for human resources for the hotel, restaurant, tour guide, service staff and seasonal workers industries.
Along with that, the information technology industry - the strategic spearhead of the city - needs thousands of software engineers, data experts, and AI programmers to meet the requirements of developing high-tech parks. Meanwhile, the logistics and e-commerce sectors are accelerating thanks to the trend of online shopping, attracting many positions in warehouse management, operations and delivery. It is impossible not to mention the construction - real estate industry, which is recovering strongly thanks to key urban projects, resorts and transport infrastructure.
All of these create a diverse job market picture, from unskilled labor to high-quality labor, opening up great opportunities for people in the city and the Central region.
The Da Nang labor market is entering a period of strong growth, both an opportunity and a challenge for both workers and businesses. Effective connection of supply and demand, along with flexibility in recruitment policies and strategies, will help Da Nang not only recover after the pandemic, but also affirm its role as the most dynamic job center in the Central region - where opportunities are always open for those who are ready to grasp.
Workers choose a working environment over salary
If previously workers only cared about salary, now the factors of working environment, development opportunities and life balance have become the top criteria, especially for Gen Z. In Da Nang, the online application rate has increased by more than 25% compared to 2024, showing a clear shift in the approach to job opportunities. Electronic job platforms are becoming an effective connection tool between candidates and employers, with thousands of recruitment news updated every day. Businesses only need a few steps to access millions of quality records, while workers can easily find suitable jobs thanks to a smart filtering system.
