Bring benefits to workers
According to the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor, by early 2025, the province had 270/384 units signing collective labor agreements, reaching a rate of 70.3%. The Provincial Federation of Labor has evaluated and classified these agreements, many of which bring practical benefits to union members and workers.
Notably, some agreements stipulate better wages, bonuses, and health insurance than the general regulations. In particular, 127 agreements successfully negotiated to increase the value of mid-shift meals, exceeding the target set by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
These agreements contribute to taking care of workers' rights and at the same time promoting harmonious and progressive labor relations in enterprises.

Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Trade Union of Dak Lak Province's Industry and Trade, emphasized: "In industrial parks and clusters, shift meals are not only a nutritional issue but also a legitimate right of workers, which needs to be guaranteed."
According to Mr. Tuan, in recent times, many collective labor agreements have adjusted and improved the shift meal regime to help workers maintain good health. These provisions need to clearly define quality and standards to protect the rights of workers.
Mr. Le Trung Hieu, a worker at Hoa Phu Industrial Park (Dak Lak) shared: "My company has nearly 500 workers, and the grassroots union always protects our rights. The clearest proof is that the shift meal costs nearly 30,000 VND/person, with food that ensures quality and nutrition."
Monitoring the implementation of collective labor agreements
Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor is currently directing trade unions at all levels to guide and support grassroots trade unions in enterprises in negotiating, signing and supervising the implementation of collective labor agreements.
Mr. Le Van Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, emphasized that collective labor agreements not only protect workers' rights but also contribute to strengthening the relationship between enterprises and workers.
The negotiation process gives employees the opportunity to express their thoughts and aspirations at work.
According to Mr. Thanh, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor is particularly interested in expanding the implementation of collective labor agreements. Trade unions at all levels will promote implementation in enterprises that have not signed.
The goal is that by 2025, at least 78% of enterprises and units with qualified trade unions will negotiate and sign collective labor agreements according to regulations.
100% of direct superior unions will supervise grassroots unions at enterprises on the implementation of agreements, ensuring the best interests of workers.
