Hanoi City Social Insurance answers:
Pursuant to Clause 21, Article 1 of Law No. 51/2024/QH15, amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Health Insurance, effective from July 1, 2025; Point a, Clause 6, Article 7 of Circular 01/2025/TT-BYT dated January 1, 2025 of the Ministry of Health detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Health Insurance on changing the place of initial medical examination and treatment: "Health insurance participants are allowed to change the place of initial medical examination and treatment under health insurance on the first 15 days of each quarter to suit the place of residence, work or study".
Therefore, students can change the place of initial registration for medical examination and treatment on the first 15 days of each quarter. The documents include: Declaration of participation, adjustment of social insurance and health insurance information (Form TK1-TS).
Parents can submit the application to the educational institution where the parent/student is studying or can submit it directly to the social insurance agency where the parent/student is participating in health insurance to complete the procedures for changing the place of initial registration for medical examination and treatment.
